Asymmetrica

Privacy policy

Who we are

Asymmetrica is a regulatory consultancy established in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

Data you give us through the contact, consultation, eligibility-check, resource-download and newsletter forms: name, company, email address, telephone number and whatever you write in the message. Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring source, gathered through analytics.

Why we use it

To answer your enquiry, to prepare and deliver the services you ask about, to send a requested file or newsletter, to keep records required of us as a consultancy, and to understand which parts of the site are useful. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Legal basis and consent

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit a form or accept non-essential cookies, and where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or to comply with a legal obligation. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

Storage and data localization

Uzbek personal-data legislation requires the personal data of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan to be collected, systematised and stored on databases physically located in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan. You should know that data submitted through this site — enquiry forms, file requests and newsletter sign-ups — is at present held by our hosting and managed-database providers on infrastructure located outside Uzbekistan. Bringing that storage inside the country is work in progress; we will update this policy when the migration is complete. If you would rather your data was not stored abroad in the meantime, please contact us by email or telephone instead of using the forms on this site.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting engagement, and afterwards only for the period our record-keeping obligations require. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Sharing

We disclose personal data only to service providers acting on our instructions — hosting, email delivery and analytics — and to public authorities where the law requires it. Where an engagement requires filings on your behalf, we share only what the filing requires.

Your rights

You may ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, its correction, its deletion, or the withdrawal of your consent, and you may object to processing for marketing. Write to us using the address on the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Access to form submissions is restricted to staff who need it, and administrative access is protected by individual accounts. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential technical documentation through a web form — ask us for a secure channel.

Changes and contact

We update this policy when our processing changes and publish the current version here. Questions about it, or about a request concerning your data, should go to the contact address published on this site.
